Stereo Embers’ TRACK OF THE DAY:…And We All Die’s “Modern Day Privateers” (Daniel Ash Remix)

Stereo Embers featured the Daniel Ash remix of Modern Day Privateers as one of their “Track of the Day” posts with a great review.

“In a press release, Daniel Ash explained his reaction to the track: “When you listen to any piece of music, it’s real or it’s fake…Music or Muzak, this one was the former.” Inspired, Ash decided to twist the song toward a minimal noise rock route where the word groove cannot really measure the size of his work. Ash’s remix is extraordinary but for comparison, I’m sure that you definitely want to hear the original to contrast it with. So, you may hear the song as it was originally published here and then switch to the Daniel Ash Remix II as it is included in the new LP.”
